The Power of Resiliency: Dream Factory Annual Conference and Silent Auction for Cancer Research

We all face something in life, but how do we relate to it and come out the other side and come back stronger, better, wiser, and more connected to ourselves and others. Vulnerability seems to be part of the equation, realizing we are not alone in our challenges, and that moving through is better than putting up with.

This conference will focus on stories—stories of real resilience.  You will hear from people who were not stopped by circumstances and explore ways that you can be empowered to deal with the challenges of your life.
You will leave with a Resiliency Plan and a Community of Support for Moving Forward.
  • We are also doing a Silent Auction to fund cancer research that contributes to the resiliency of Dana Farber patients who have blood cancers and need stem cell transplantation.  If you would like to donate art, a service, a product, a basket, books, jewelry, or vacation destination, let us know when you register (there is a place for that)  or email Christina Steele: christinabsteele021@gmail.com, with the description and value.
Topics:
  • Marriage Challenges/Divorce: Kaye Michelle Pezzini, author/healer
  • Family Challenges/Abuse: Arlene Lieberman, educational lawyer
  • Losing a Spouse or Loved One: Martine Whitman, author/educator
  • Health Issues: Janet Drummey, wife with husband in cancer treatment
  • World Crises: Noemi Grace: author/psychotherapist
  • Overcoming Addiction: Amy Clark, entrepreneur
  • Work Challenges: Pat Lovejoy, physical therapist/Feldenkrais practitioner

Come co-create with us.

  • Do you have a story that reflects any of these topics?  Do you have advice for resiliency based on what you have gone through?  We are looking for stories with a message.
  • Would you like to be a table captain–a good facilitator to manage a conversation and time?
  • Would you like to be a scribe--to get down the important lessons that are shared at the table?

When you register–let us know.  There will be support and guidelines for these accountabilities.
